Glue Application to ABS Edgebanding

All traditional hot melt adhesives (EVA, PA, APAO, and PUR) can be utilized with Luyao Group ABS Edge banding. The low shrinkage raw material formulation of ABS, combined with high temperature resistant adhesives, ensures solid bonding. Heat-resistant adhesives are especially suited for applications that are subjected to high temperatures, such as kitchen ovens. Glue application temperatures will range from 90°C to 220°C, depending on the adhesive type.

Production Line

Luyao group use an extrusion procedure to create the edges of our ABS. When the corners are rounded off for a perfect panel finish, there are no problems because we dye all plastics uniformly. Maximum adhesion to the substrate is ensured by coating the back of the edges with a universal adhesive agent, regardless of whether hot melt adhesives or other suitable adhesive systems are used.
