Application Guide — Getting the Best Bond Quality
Step 1: Match Application Temperature to Your Edge Bander
Set the glue pot temperature according to the grade you’re using. Do not exceed the upper limit — over heating EVA causes carbonization, which clogs the glue roller and produces dark streaks on your bond line.
Step 2: Allow Full Preheating
- Cold pot to working temperature: 20–30 minutes
- Do not start production until the temperature has stabilized (fluctuation under ±3°C)
- Running production before full preheat is the cause of weak bonds on the first 20–30 panels of the shift
