Edge Banding – MSDS

Edge Banding – SGS
This weather resistance performance of PVC edge banding was verified by this official report from SGS (No. GZMR260501832901, dated June 10, 2026), which was conducted under the national standard GB/T 14522-2008 Cycle 1. The whole testing procedure started on May 29 and ended on June 10, 2026, by using the UVA-340 professional lamp to imitate natural ultraviolet radiation, which successfully tested the outdoor and long-term stability of furniture edge banding materials.
The experiment was performed for a total of 72 hours under UV accelerated aging with two standardized cycles: 8 hours of light at 60±3℃ with a radiation power of 0.89 W/(m2·nm) at 340 nm, followed by 4 hours of condensation at 50±3℃. The average ΔEab color difference values of the product were controlled within 1.67–1.72 (SCI) and 1.66–1.84 (SCE) after the full-cycle test, which were far below the threshold of the client with ΔEab＜2.
No obvious discoloration, cracking or aging deformation were found for all the samples. The report data is accurate and internationally recognized with 100% calibration professional test equipment. EVA Hot Mlet Glue – MSDS
This Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) with dated 4th December 2025 is in compliance with GHS Rev.11 and provides information with regard to EVA hot melt adhesive produced by Shanghai Luyao Industry CO.,LTD. The product is a white granular with mild smell, made by clear component proportion: 40% calcium carbonate, 30% EVA, 24.5% rosin modified resin, 5% tackifying resin and 0.5% antioxidants, adopted a stab le and green solution, no harm to body.
It is a solid butx, which is benign to health, and under GHS it is classified as a non-flammable substance with no explosive or flammable risk therein. None of the ingredients are classified as carcinogens according to IARC, NTP or OSHA. The toxicological studies confirm it has no acute toxicity, skin/eye irritation, sensitization, genotoxicity or reproductive toxicity and it has no potential health hazards for workers in its normal handling.
Normal temperature and pressure, the product stability, only need to be stored in routine in cool, ventilation keep away from strong acid, alkali and oxidant. It promotes safe disposal by professional licensed institutions. Specifically, it is not classified as dangerous goods, exempted from UN dangerous goods regulation and ADR, IMDG, IATA limitations. It provides convenient transportation by sea, air and land without requirement for special logistics qualification, and meets the relevant national export and customs clearance standards in the field of furniture manufacturing application.

PUR Hot Melt Adhesive – SGS
This RoHS testing report is No. SHA03-26012501-JC-02-02En,Shanghai WEIPU Testing Group issued on Jan 26, 2022 for Shanghai luyao industry co.ltd – yellow solid PUR PU hot melt adhesive (Sample ID: 2601002564-4). Date of receipt of samples: 2026-01-09, entire test was completed in 13 days.
Ten restricted hazardous substances under EU RoHS Directive (EU) Directive 2015/863 were analyzed by standardized IEC methods: heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr(VI)) by ICP-OES, while PBBs, PBDEs and four phthalates (DBP, BBP, DEHP, DIBP) were analyzed by GC-MS. The limits are all based on RoHS: Pb/Hg/Cr(VI)/PBBs/PBDEs/phthalates with a limit of 1000 mg/kg, Cd is limited to 100 mg/kg. Method Detection Limits for MDL are 5 mg/kg for brominated biphenyl ethers to 50 mg/kg for phthalates.
All the test results were labeled N.D. (Not Detected, corresponding to below MDL): Heavy metals were not detected more than 8-10 mg/kg of MDL; all mono- to deca-brominated PBB and PBDE congeners were non-detectable; four phthalates were under 50 mg/kg MDL, too. The laboratory’s sample flow diagram consists of three sample pretreatment procedures: acid digestion for nonmetal, hot water/alkali extraction for Cr (VI), and organic solvent extraction for organics, instrumental determination by ICP-OES, UV-Vis and GC-MS.
The official seal-off confirms the adhesive is fully RoHS 2.0 compliant. Remarks clarify units (1 mg/kg = 1 ppm) and definitions of notations. Legal disclaimers are the rules of validity, 15-working day period for inquiries, and for internal use only if without the CMA mark. The complete report is stamped with the official seals and signed by the compiler Wang Ying and the approver Huang Yi.
PUR Hot Mlet Glue – MSDS
This English version of the MSDS (Report No. SHA03-26013289-JC-01-02En, issued on Jan 13, 626 by Weipu Testing on behalf of Shanghai luyao industry co.ltd) conforms to the requirements of GB/T 17519-2013 and GB/T 16483-2008, describing the safety information of solid white, slightly odourous PUR hot melt adhesive with four major ingredients in weight: 40% aromatic polyester polyol (32472-85-8), 50% propoxylated glycerol polyether polyol (3055-99-0), 1% polymeric MDI (9016-87-9) and 9% calcium carbonate (471-34-1).
Its sole classified hazard under GHS GB 30000 series is having Category 3 acute aquatic toxicity with hazard statement H402 (harmful to aquatic life) and it is instructed under P273 to avoid release to the environment and P501 to dispose of as hazardous or special waste. Data on toxicity for Polymeric MDI: rat oral LD50=49000 mg/kg, rabbit dermal LD50>9400 mg/kg, rat 4h inhalation LC50=0.49 mg/L, and IARC Carcinogen Group 3.
Full PPE (e.g., gloves, goggles, chemical-resistant clothing) and explosion proof ventilation are required for safety. Chem IR tells us to flush with water for 15 min in case of eye/skin exposure and seek immediate medical attention. Fire may produce toxic fumes; pick up spilled solid and place in sealed dry containers. From a biodegradable, bioaccumulative and mobility in soil perspective, major components are low. It is not Classed/RID/IMO for sea or air transport and all the components are listed on the IECSC Inventory in China. The sheet discloses limited toxicity testing for the mixture and notifies users to dispose of the residues by incineration according to the local environmental regulations.
