What is 20mm edge banding?
Our all 20mm edge banding products adopt fixed proportional raw materials and complete production processes, which can keep stable appearance and performance under long-term mechanical processing and indoor use.

Production Process
Raw Material Batching & Granulation
We configure raw materials according to fixed formula, then send the mixed raw materials into the granulation workshop for full plasticizing granulation. Many small factories directly extrude mixed powder to save time, which leads to uneven material and fragile finished products. We add an extra cooling shaping procedure after granulation to make the material internal structure more stable and improve the flexibility of finished edge banding fundamentally.
Extrusion Molding
This link controls the width, thickness and flatness of 20mm edge banding. We deliberately lengthen the cooling section of the production line to fully release internal stress and avoid later bending deformation. After molding, the surface is fully dried, and then the automatic gravity glue supply system and inclined gluing structure are used to evenly coat the back glue to ensure no missing glue and no degumming. At the end of the line, the automatic high-precision meter counter controls the roll length accurately to avoid meter shortage or excess waste. Solid-color edge banding directly enters the inspection link after extrusion.
Printing & Surface Protection
Wood grain and patterned edge banding will be transferred to the printing workshop for multi-layer printing. We strictly implement the complete pre-cleaning, primer, double overprinting and surface protective coating process, will not cut printing layers casually, to ensure clear texture and wear-resistant surface. Acrylic, melamine and veneer products carry out independent surface polishing and anti-fouling treatment according to material characteristics.
Comprehensive Quality Inspection
Each roll of finished edge banding will be sampled for size measurement, flexibility test, adhesion test, fading test and appearance inspection. Unqualified products will be isolated and scrapped uniformly, and only qualified products can enter the packaging link.
Moisture-proof Packaging
According to the transportation distance, we use thick plastic film and carton packaging, add desiccant for long-distance sea transportation, effectively prevent damp damage during long-distance international logistics transportation.
