EVA stands for Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, hence the name. As one of the leading EVA transparency for hot melt glue sticks manufacturers in China, we develop and offer high-quality copolymer-based glue sticks that are widely utilized in the paper, assembly, and packaging sectors. EVA Hot melt glue sticks are a form of hot melt adhesive that is often employed in the assembly of light weight objects. They have special qualities that make them ideal for certain applications. Here are some important characteristics of EVA Hot melt glue sticks:

EVA hot melt glue stick is a solvent-free, 100% water-free solid fusible polymer; it is solid at room temperature, but when heated and melted to a specified temperature, it transforms into a liquid that can flow and has a specific viscosity. After melting, EVA transparency for hot melt glue sticks appear light brown or white. EVA hot melt adhesive sticks are made up of basic resins, tackifiers, viscosity modifiers, and antioxidants. Choice of hot melt glue sticks:

The color criteria for hot melt glue sticks should differ. If the color of the substrate is not a specific necessity, it is advisable to use yellow hot melt sticks; yellow hot melt sticks are typically more adhesive than white ones.
Second, consider the substrate’s surface treatment. The surface treatment of the hot melt glue stick on the substrate is not as stringent as that of other adhesives, but dust and oil stains on the substrate’s surface should also be thoroughly cleaned to allow the hot melt adhesive stick to perform better as an adhesive.
Operational time. Hot melt glue sticks are known for their ability to work quickly. The operation time of the hot melt glue stick is normally approximately 15 seconds. With the widespread deployment of current production processes – assembly lines, the operation time requirements for the hot melt glue stick are increasing shorter and shorter, such as book binding and speaker manufacturing. The hot melt glue stick’s operating time should be around 5 seconds.
temperature resistance. Hot melt sticks are temperature-sensitive. When the temperature reaches a certain level, the hot melt glue stick begins to soften, and when the temperature falls below a certain level, the hot melt glue stick becomes brittle, so the selection of hot melt glue stick must take into account the temperature change of the environment in which the hot melt glue stick product is located.
stickiness. The stickiness of hot melt glue sticks is classified as early stickiness and later stickiness. Only when the early and later sticks are consistent will the hot melt stick remain stable with the substrate. The manufacturing of hot melt glue sticks shall provide antioxidation, halogen, acid and alkali resistance, and plasticity. The stickiness of the hot melt glue stick varies based on the substrate material, hence various hot melt sticks should be used for different materials.

Adhesives are natural compounds and may vary significantly in hue.

The hot-melt adhesive is viscoplastic and suitable for use with a wide range of materials, including wood and wood-based products, ceramics, metal, paper (including coated), cardboard, textiles, and plastics such as Melamine, ABS, hard PVC, PS, PET, and Plexiglas (acrylic glass).
