PVC Edge Banding

Melamine Edge Banding
Melamine edge band is the most popular type of edge band material, it is composed of decorative printing paper soaked in melamine resin which is then cured under heat and pressure. Its color and texture are abundant, can be well combined with melamine faced board, so as to guarantee the whole consistency of furniture appearance.
This edging is high in wear resistant heat resistant and stain resistant, so it is not easy to fade or damage in daily life. But it’s relatively brittle, has moderate impact resistance and moisture resistance, so it shouldn’t be used in wet areas, such as kitchen and bathroom. It enjoys a good cost performance and is extensively used in office furniture, cabinet work and simple modern panel furniture, which makes it an economical material in the furniture industry.
Wood Veneer Edge Banding
Wood veneer edgebanding is a premium edge decoration product made from thin strips of wood peeled from natural solid wood (ex. oak, walnut, ash) with a thickness usually from 0.4mm to 1.5mm. It has natural wood grain and warm delicate texture which is unmatched by any man made materials, so it’s always top selection for high-end solid wood furniture. This banding is very environment friendly and has a high quality texture which can improve the grade of furniture very much.
But it is quite moisture sensitive, so will crack and distort if left outside without protection, and needs to be sanded and painted, etc. Being more expensive, it is mainly applied in high-end solid wood furniture, custom made cabinets and log-style home decoration to meet customers’ pursuit of high quality, healthy and natural home life.

This allows you to test color consistency, texture, flexibility, surface finish, and machining performance before bulk orders.We offer standard sample sizes including thickness 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 2.0mm and width 16mm, 19mm, 22mm, 25mm. Custom sample sizes are also available upon request.By testing real samples, you can avoid color mismatch, cracking during bending, whitening after trimming, poor adhesion, or surface defects.
